MOMS FOR MOMS BABY DRIVE

We were very hopeful that this year's Moms for Moms diaper drive would be successful even with the current health crisis, and the new format, and WOW was it ever!

We collected a whopping 2,084 pounds of diapers and wipes. Our diaper shed is now full again!

Since this crisis began, we have seen an exponential increase in local families requiring our help to feed their families and care for their children. 20 new families are turning to our food pantry every day, and we are serving 1,500 families each month. Although our Moms For Moms drive has officially ended, we are always happy to receive donations of diapers, wipes and baby supplies. We provide food assistance to all who turn to us for help and offer diapers and wipes to every family in need, all year long.

Thank you to all who supported this drive to help out the youngest and most vulnerable of our neighbors

Moms for Moms was conceived by local mothers who wanted to help alleviate the financial burden on mothers struggling to provide for their babies. This year, CCNW's 5th annual Moms for Moms Drive will take place Monday, May 4th through Friday, May 15th.

Shockingly, 1 in 3 low-income families can't afford diapers for their children and the recent crisis with so much loss of employment has dramatically increased their need. The Community Center continues to provide food assistance to all who turn to us for help and offer diapers and wipes to every family in need. We have seen an exponential increase in local families requiring our help to feed their families and care for their children. Almost 20 new families are turning to our food pantry every day, and we are serving over 1,000 families each month.

Please consider helping our Moms with young children by supporting our drive for diapers, wipes and books. Due to the current situation with schools being closed we have revised the format of our drive and will be asking for donations to be delivered to the Center directly or purchased online through our Amazon wish list.

Donations of diapers, wipes, and gently used books may also be dropped off at the Community Center, during our regular hours, in the bin near the front door marked Moms For Moms.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF OUR YOUNGEST IN NEED!
