OUR FOOD PANTRY IS OPEN!

During this very difficult time, the Community Center is utilizing all of its resources to continue to provide essential food support.

  • To meet the urgent and immediate needs we are distributing pre-bagged food at the back door of our Food Pantry for families in need. Each family is provided fresh fruits & vegetables, meat & eggs in addition to shelf stable canned and dry goods. We are giving each family extra food to help sustain them longer and we are providing essential toiletries such as Depends, feminine hygiene products, diapers and wipes to those who need.
  • To facilitate social distancing, we are asking visitors to stand at least 6 feet apart and have an outdoor check in and check out process to reduce personal contact.
  • For our local seniors or those with underlying health issues, our dedicated volunteers are providing home delivery of food and essential supplies.
  • We are communicating with other food pantries and agencies to coordinate resources and ensure that the growing needs of those who have been impacted by this public health crisis are being met.
  • To help families meet their clothing needs we are providing gently used clothing free of charge, by appointment, at our clothing boutique on site.
  • We are offering one-on-one support for clients who require help navigating additional resources.
  • We have joined with the town of Bedford to spearhead the Town of Bedford Face Mask Program by coordinating the sewing of the masks with our volunteers and sewing program students. The masks are distributed to volunteers in our community and essential workers who lack necessary supplies.

If you or someone you know needs support please visit our food pantry during our regular hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Fridays 10AM - 4PM, Thursdays 12PM - 6PM, and Saturdays 10AM - 1PM.

For more information please call the Center directly at 914-232-6572.
