People of all ages volunteer at the Center: from teenagers earning community service to retirees.

Some work a regular shift each week while others volunteer as needed. Most volunteers are assigned to one of three areas — the Donations Room, the Food Pantry, or the Clothing Bank — and usually work along with one or two other volunteers on the same shift.  

There are two shifts each weekday — 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm — and one on Saturday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.  The Center is closed on Sunday and Monday and all major holidays.

Community Service Volunteers are asked to volunteer a minimum of three shifts of three hours each.  Students usually volunteer on Saturdays or during vacation breaks.
