ADVANCED ENGLISH AND CIVICS - UPCOMING - FALL 2018, Thursdays: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Taught in 8 week increments. Students earn a certificate upon completion. Class usually meets on Thursdays from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. 

BASICS OF CONSTRUCTION - UPCOMING - NOVEMBER 2018

Taught by an Architect and Engineer, in this program, students will learn to read blueprints, calculating materials needed, along with other basic construction skills. Can Only Accommodate 24 Students. Advance registration is necessary. Students will be informed by phone if they are enrolled.


NOURISH & NURTURE - UPCOMING - FALL 2018

The Community Center partners with the Katonah Library to offer this nutrition program.


OSHA TRAINING - UPCOMING - FALL 2018

Most workers in construction, building development and other related fields will need to take hazard recognition training. This will ensure that workers are able to identify, predict, prevent and stop potential hazards in the workplace. Can Only Accommodate 24 Students. Advance registration is necessary. Students will be informed by phone if they are enrolled.


SEWING FOR A LIVING - UPCOMING - FALL 2018

Taught by a seamstress, this program will meet for 2 ½ hours for 8 weeks. The class will progress from honing and perfecting basic sewing skills to progress to creating and finishing a student project. Post Program support will include how to sell handmade products on the internet. *Can only accommodate 8 students in both morning and evening classes. Advance registration is necessary. Students will be informed by phone if they are enrolled.
