FOOD FOR THOUGHT NUTRITION WORKSHOPS - 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM select dates in July & August 2019

  • Nutrition education workshops presented in cooperation with Sesame Workshop
  • Education and food budgeting strategies for parents and children
  • Enhance nutrition knowledge and improve smart shopping strategies regarding healthy choices and stretching food dollars
  • Increase healthier food choices among clients in food pantry

BASICS OF CONSTRUCTION - Bilingual Class - Fridays: 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM, Begins October 2019

Taught by an Architect and Engineer, in this program, students will learn to read blueprints, calculating materials needed, along with other basic construction skills. This class will be taught in English and Spanish and can only accommodate 24 students.

ADVANCED CONSTRUCTION - Tuesdays: 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM, Begins January 2019

Most workers in construction, building development and other related fields will need to take hazard recognition training. This will ensure that workers are able to identify, predict, prevent and stop potential hazards in the workplace. Can Only Accommodate 24 Students. Advance registration is necessary. Students will be informed by phone if they are enrolled.
