Thanks to the efforts of 27 local preschools, daycares, libraries and our very generous community, the Moms for Moms Committee collected over 1,800 lbs of diapers, wipes and toddler toiletries for mothers in need who turn the Community Center for food support.

Thanks to the following organizations for their tremendous generosity:

Moms for Moms was conceived by local mothers who wanted to help alleviate the financial burden on mothers struggling to provide for their babies. CCNW's 5th annual Moms for Moms Drive will take place Monday, May 1st through Friday, May 15th and we will be giving each mother who comes to the food pantry for support this spring a gift bag filled with wipes, diapers, essential toiletries and handmade cards made by local preschool children.

Shockingly, 1 in 3 low-income families can't afford diapers for their children and the recent crisis with so much loss of employment has dramatically increased their need. The Community Center continues to provide food assistance to over 3,000 families who turn to us for help and we offer diapers and wipes to every family in need. We have seen an exponential increase in local families requiring our help to feed their families and care for their children. Last year over 1,000 new families turned to our food pantry for support.

Please consider helping our Moms with young children by supporting our drive for diapers, wipes and toiletries. Due to the limited access to preschools and daycare centers because of COVID, we ask that donations be either personally delivered to the Center or purchased online through our Amazon wish list and shipped to the Center. Donations being dropped off in person at the Community Center may be done during our regular hours at our back door or in the bins marked Moms For Moms. When dropping donations, please mention they are for the Moms For Moms Diaper Drive and if you have an affiliation with a preschool or organization who may be participating you can also mention their name so that we can properly track your generous donations.

We would be so grateful for your help in making this a special Mother's Day for Community Center families!
